Staff from the Department today are set to undergo firesafety, sensitization programme.

The training is being conducted by Data line International trainers.

Among the areas to be covered include, Disaster management and incident command systems, classes of fire and fire fighting equipment, as well as practicall fire drill and emergency preparedness.

The 7th East Africa Regional Exhibition and Workshop that was scheduled to take

place from 18th - 24th July 2016, has now been postphoned to 15th - 20th August.

The Theme for this year’s conference is “ARCHITECTURE, CITY + SUSTAINABLE
DESIGN”. This event coincides with the Department’s Diamond Jubilee
Celebrations (1956 - 2016).
