The Faculty of the Built Environment and Design Library has organized a Library Expo from 26th to the 27th April 2023 at ADD Main Hall.
THEME: DISCOVER AND CONNECT
The purpose of this Expo is to raise the consciousness of the user community on the academic significance of the library and draw attention to the important role it plays in their academic life.
The event will take the form of an exhibition of selected library resources in a social forum with interactivity between ADD library staff and all categories of users notably teaching and non-teaching staff, students, and the library staff. This exhibition will showcase library resources to the students and faculty. In addition, the event will present an immeasurable opportunity for ADD Library customers to acquaint themselves with emerging trends in information access and use.
The objectives of the Library Expo Day are to:
i) Increase use of the information resources;
ii) Promote the use of the physical library;
iii) Promote underutilized resources;
iv) Contribute to the improvement of scholarly output by promoting the utilization of various information resources for teaching, learning and research;
v) Promote academic integrity.
The activities will include exhibitions, presentations, and training on access to information resources and academic integrity.
