The industrial and product design studios have unique requirements based on the various materials in use. The school has a kiln that serves students creating ceramics.

Arts and Design studio

The PIN UP are used to present work in progress, a fun assembly of ideas, stories and conversations paired with cutting-edge photography and artwork.

The Faculty of The Built Environment library is located in A.D.D. building located along Lower State House Road.  It is one of the branches of the University of Nairobi Library System with a sitting capacity of 92 students.  The library mainly provides information services to academic staff, non-academic staff, postgraduate, undergraduate students of the Faculty of The Built Environment and Design, and alumna of the University of Nairobi.
