The Department of Urban and Regional Planning in the Faculty of the Built Environment and Design is well endowed with necessary resources to produce planners who are in position, provide expertise in the human settlements planning and management in the 21st Century. In addition to undergraduate studies, the department has strong programmes at postgraduate level at Masters and PhD levels. The department is involved in research and outreach activities.
