On Thursday, 30th June 2022 the University of Nairobi (UoN) officially launched the University of Nairobi Foundation.
The VC, Prof. Stephen Kiama on Monday, June 20, 2022 went round on a sensitization and mobilization agenda.
The online application system for government sponsorship placement to universities and colleges is open until Thursday, June 2, 2022. Candidates can log into to https://students.kuccps.net/ and apply for placement to university or revise choices.

The University of Nairobi community observed the Annual Tree Planting and Growing Day on Friday, May 13, 2022 at the Upper Kabete Campus. On this day staff and students from all Faculties gathered at Upper Kabete campus to plant about 7,000 tree seedlings. The Dean, Faculty of Built Environment and Design, Prof. Rukwaro accompanied other staff to plant trees.
AD Scientific Index (Alper-Doger Scientific Index) has released the Kenya Top 1000 Scientists May 2022 Edition.
The 3rd annual prize presentation ceremony was held on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Taifa Hall. During the event, about 275 students from 2019/2020, & 2020/2021 academic years received gold medals, cash prizes, and trophies from over 100 donors and partners for outstanding performance.
A team of leading urban experts from the Department of Urban and Regional Planning-Faculty of Built Environment & Design and UN-Habitat are conducting a series of workshops on Urban-Rural Linkages. The training targets 47 planners drawn from various county governments across Kenya.
The Department of Urban and Regional Planning will host a Research Seminar on Livable streets.

Synopsis:
In line with the University of Nairobi Students Association (UNSA) Constitution the University of Nairobi conducted the UNSA elections on Friday, March 25, 2022, across all Faculties. Students voted using the Eballot platform, this online platform allowed students to cast their vote from anywhere in the country. The polls opened at 8 am and closed at 5 pm.
The Faculty and Campus Students' Association Elections will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022. Students will cast their votes via the e-ballot portal from 8am-5pm. The platform is accessible via eballot.uonbi.ac.ke
Requirements to access the eballot system
