68th Graduation Certificate Collection Schedule

All Graduates of the 68th Congregation for the conferment of Degrees and award of Diplomas held on December 16, 2022, are requested to collect their certificates from the University of Nairobi Central Examinations Centre, Chiromo Campus starting from Monday, January 16, 2023, to Friday, February 10, 2023. 

1) Masters Degrees: Monday, January 16, 2023 – Friday, January 20, 2023

2) Bachelor’s Degrees: Monday, January 23, 2023 - Friday January 27, 2023

3) Diplomas: Monday, February 6, 2023 - Friday February 10, 2023

UoN 68th Graduation

The University of Nairobi held its 68th graduation ceremony on Friday, December 16th, 2022, at Taifa Hall Main Campus. Dr. Vijoo Rattansi, Chancellor of the University, conferred and awarded 6,959 degrees and diplomas during the televised ceremony. The lively event featured key speeches from University administration as well as Dr. Belio Kipsang, Principal Secretary of the State Department of Basic Education.

Student Association Elections: CRESA

On Friday, November 18, 2022, the Construction Management and Real Estate Students Associations (CRESA) will hold elections.

The vote will be cast electronically at the following link: https://vote.uonbi.ac.ke/login/index.php

The following groups are eligible to compete for the management of the students' association:

The election will start at 8 am and close at 5 pm.

 

Hokkaido Students Exchange program webinar

Our partners Hokkaido University, Japan have organized a webinar for our Undergraduate students to learn more about their Hokkaido University Short-Term Exchange Program (HUSTEP). The virtual webinar will be held on Wednesday 16th November 2022 from 11 am-12 pm.

Keynote Speakers: 1st Annual Urban and Regional Planning Conference (URPC) 2022

The Faculty of Built Environment and Design in collaboration with Architectural Association of Kenya-Town Planning Chapter (AAK-TPC), Kenya Institute of Planners (KIP), and Town and County Planners Association of Kenya (TCPAK) will host the 1st Annual Urban and Regional Planning Conference on 25th- 26th October 2022.

UoN Mental Health Day

The University of Nairobi held the Annual Mental Health Awareness Commemoration on Friday, 7th October 2022, at the Chancellor’s Court. The event, held under the theme “making mental health and well-being for all a global priority,” featured a free medical camp open to the public. The students, staff, and public members flocked to the event and received free health services, including medical tests and consultations.
