The University of Nairobi wishes to inform the following groups of students (Module I and Module II) that the commencement and opening dates for the 2023/2024 Academic Year is as follows:

1. MONDAY 25th, SEPTEMBER 2023 - FIRST SEMESTER

Arch. Isaac Nyabwana, Arch Cosmas Busima, Quantity Surveyor Bramwell Kimokoti, and Prof. Stephen O. Diang’a paid a courtesy call to the Dean of the Faculty of Built Environment and Design on Tuesday, July 11, 2023! the four are alumni from the 1970s. 

The Department of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Nairobi recently held short course certificate training in ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Remote Sensing, Google Earth Engine, Google Earth, and Kobo Collect. The training was open to second year BA in Planning students, and it was held from June 10th to July 7, 2023.

The University of Nairobi (UoN) unveiled its official attire on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 in a highly anticipated fashion event held at the ADD Building- Faculty of Built Environment and Design. The UoN attire, the result of collaborative efforts between faculty members and fashion design students, features a variety of designs that reflect the university's rich heritage and creative spirit. The colors, symbols, and patterns used in the designs were carefully selected to represent the university's values of excellence and diversity.
