UoN Research Week 2023

This year the University of Nairobi will host the 6th Annual Research Week 2023  from 23rd to 27th October 2023. The theme for this year's Research week is Harnessing Research for Resilience and Sustainability of Communities. This theme fits quite well with the changing times and calls us to directly reflect on how best researchers can begin to solve the many problems that communities experience today. The world is today talking about research that leads to resilience and sustainable solutions to the problems of the world today.

The Department of Art and Design will host The Design Methodologies for Job Creation in Afrika conference on Tuesday 24th October 2023 at the UoN Tower, 4th Flr Room 401 from 8am-1pm. #UoNresearchweek. This conference is part of the University of Nairobi Annual Research Week that will run from Monday 23rd to Friday 27th October 2023.

University of Nairobi and UN-HABITAT Launch Center for Urban-Rural Linkages in Africa (CURLA)

CURLA LAUNCH

The University of Nairobi (UoN) and the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) launched the Center for Urban-Rural Linkages in Africa (CURLA) on Friday, October 13, 2023. The center will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between urban and rural contexts, facilitating integrated and sustainable development.
