The event was held at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Westlands, Nairobi, and brought together students, industry professionals, and esteemed guests to celebrate a year filled with outstanding accomplishments.

In this year's Students Recognition Award event, Cynthia Wahito Ndegwa from the Department of Architecture was named the overall top student in the academic performance category. Cynthia who was the valedictorian in the 67th graduation ceremony in September 2022 received several awards from the donors, including the Gandhi Smarak Nidhi Trustee Fund, the University of Nairobi Alumni Association, and the Prof. Peter Mbithi & Family Prize, among others.
On April 28, 2023, the Real Estate third-year class went on a one-day tour to one of Kenya's largest and most popular national parks- The Maasai Mara Game Reserve. The trip's goal was to obtain insight into many facets of natural resource management and the link between natural resources and real estate.
